Taking Assessments

The Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) technology and intuitive interface make assessment easy.

Each assessment has 40 multiple choice questions. A traditional multiple choice test requires many questions to deliver the same predictive result, but CAT technology adapts to the test-taker's ability and so fewer questions are needed. Allow 30 to a maximum of 90 minutes to complete an assessment. Completion time reflects individual ability and so varies greatly.

Assessment results show up in transcript form on completion. Scores of 70 percent or higher receive a Sacramento State-endorsed Skill Certificate.
